NEARCHing Factory is an activity carried out as part of the project “New Scenarios for a community‐involved Archaeology” (NEARCH), led by the French National Institute for Preventive Archaeological Research (Inrap, France) and financed by the European Commission’s Culture Programme for a 5‐year period (2013‐2018). It consists of a European network of cooperation in which 14 partners from 11 different countries participate with the aim of exploring the changes which have taken place in recent decades in the field of heritage and their consequences.
More specifically, NEARCHing Factory is linked to a particular line of work within this project: “Archaeology in a changing economy: towards sustainability”, led by the Institute of Heritage Sciences (Incipit, Spain), part of the Spanish National Research Council (CSIC).
This project has been funded with support from the European Commission.
